Again, another wonderful opportunity to become involved in SPC's HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Community Outreach !

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY

Salisbury PC is sponsoring the construction of another Habitat house for the “Apostles Build” program this spring.  We will be sharing the cost and labor with eleven other local churches.  We need 60 volunteers to help with the construction (framing this year!).  No special skills are required.  Our SPC crews of 20 people per day are scheduled to work on Thursday June 5th, Friday June 6th, and Saturday June 7th.  Youth 16 years of age and older are especially encouraged to participate in this important Outreach program.  Also, this year we are looking for volunteers to coordinate the preparation and delivery of lunches to our workers on site.  Please call at 897-4266 or e-mail Drew Holtzman at 897-4266 or dholtzman@paragoncommercial.com if you can help.

UPDATE ON THE LAST "APOSTLES BUILD" IN WHICH OUR CHURCH IS PARTICIPATED:

 Hello everyone –

I am happy to report that our Spring Apostles’ Build is off to a wonderful start! Last week, volunteers from Four Mile Creek Baptist were blessed with sunny skies to help them through the work week. I also heard that they had some great home cooked lunches to help them along! After putting their muscles and minds to work, volunteers completed the floor deck of the Avila’s home. Good work! It is now ready the group from Grace and Holy Trinity Church to begin framing this week.
