CONFIRMATION CLASS FOR 2007-2008
"Choose this day who you will follow"
A new approach was developed by SPC staff, elders and dedicated Covenant Partners for this year's eighth grade confirmation class emphasizing more process and less assignment. It is an engaging experience that nurtures disciples by building relationships. Each confirmand is assigned a Covenant Partner who shares their faith journey. The Confirmands have their own Sunday School class taught by Richard and Becca Ott and Lisa and Brian Gabriel. Regular attendance at Sunday School and Sunday worship is expected and confirmands are encouraged to sit together during worship. Each confirmand is provided with a teen study bible and youth journal to assist them as they learn how to worship, witness and serve, care for one another, be a community, perform mission work and are reformed.

Wednesday, February 20--5 p.m. class, 6 p.m. dinner with Covenant Partners, 6:45-7:30 p.m. program
