Salisbury Presbyterian

Church Preschool was organized and has been operated by the Salisbury Presbyterian Church since August 1984.  Salisbury Presbyterian Preschool is a part of the church's total ministry.

The preschool years are important ones and it is our purpose to offer a varied, enriching, and fun curriculum in a caring Christian atmosphere.

Our program is based on the philosophy that children learn through play.  The classroom environment allows young children to choose from activities that capture and hold their interest.  Most activities involve active physical play because children learn best by doing. 

Teacher-directed art activities, manipulatives and puzzles are a few of the structured materials used for learning.  Materials such as playdough, water, blocks, and paint allow children to develop their own goals and make their own discoveries.
